If you’re looking for an EV SUV, then the 2025 Chevy Blazer EV should be at the top of your test-drive list. It’s an elegant, modern EV SUV that also offers drivers sporty performance, smooth handling, and the sort of features that keep the whole family happy.

You get either an AWD drivetrain for stability and handling or an FWD one for the ultimate in efficiency. That first comes naturally through the Blazer’s dual electric motors: one on each axle, front and back. The net power output for these motors is 300 hp and 355 lb-ft of torque. That front-and-back axle arrangement is what gives you such performance and confidence, as you get the stability of an AWD with the peppy zip of having power delivered everywhere the instant you call for it.

The base trim gets you up to 312 miles of range in the RWD and as much as 283 in the AWD version. Upgrade to higher trims, and you can go as far as 334 miles on the RWD and 312 in the AWD versions. The Level 2 charger is standard for overnight charging in less than 10 hours, and with Chevy’s mobile app, you’ll have access to over 250,000 public chargers nationwide for fast charging. You can get up to 100 miles of range in just 30 minutes with fast charging. This EV also comes with an option for bi-directional charging, so in the event of a blackout, you can use the Blazer to power your home.

Interior Features

The LT Blazer (the base trim) is well outfitted with a 60/40 split-folding capability that makes loading simple. You get remote start through your smartphone and can adjust the climate control settings to whatever you want. You also get a huge 17.7-inch infotainment system that works well with Apple and Android and has Google built-in capability and natural voice recognition. You also get an 11-inch driver information center.

Options you can choose to upgrade to include all-weather floor mats, a premium Bose sound system, and dual-zone climate control.

Exterior Features

On the base trim, you’ll get a manual liftgate, power-adjustable side mirrors that you can customize to get a better view, automatic on/off headlights, and IntelliBeam. The auto headlights will simply turn the lights on or off depending on weather and time of day. The IntelliBeam system senses when the high beams are needed and turns them on and off accordingly, and you get deep-tinted rear glass for privacy and comfort in the back.

In higher trims, you can opt for things like Rainsense wipers, a heated wiper park, a power liftgate, choreographed exterior lighting, and heated, power-folding mirrors.
